Program Details:
Ohana is a country place for adults and children who love nature and enjoy playing together in the great outdoors. A classic New England family camp on beautiful Lake Fairlee in the green hills of eastern Vermont, Ohana was built in the early 1900s and restored in 2007 to its original, rustic charm. Week-long stays in July and August offer a wide range of activities for everyone, on water and land. Ohana family campers live in cozy, cedar shingled cottages and share delicious farm fresh meals in our gracious dining hall. Ohana offers recreational equipment and activities for all ages: including swimming, arts and crafts, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, sailing, archery, and tennis. In the evenings, Ohana campers gather for music making, contra dancing, talks by local experts on natural and cultural history of the region. Ohana is unique among family vacation places in the country – one of six renowned youth and family camps operated by the Aloha Foundation ( www.alohafoundation.org). Famous for the camaraderie returning campers enjoy year after year, the Foundation’s Camps have served generations of loyal families since 1905. Join us this summer in Vermont to create wonderful memories and new friends that will last a lifetime.
