At Nominingue, campers will have the opportunity to have lots of fun, to make new friends and to learn new skills in an ideal camp environment.

Camp Nominingue is an English boys' camp located in Quebec. Our program operates in English and the majority of our campers are English-speaking, but we are able to arrange for campers to share a tent with a francophone camper or counselor to practice their French. Our program is organized around the needs of boys. It is an active program in which boys can get dirty, whether playing a game of "Pony Express" or going on a canoe trip. Whether going on a canoe trip, working on a woodworking project or participating in our theatre program, boys are able to enjoy learning and participating without feeling the social pressure that they frequently face at school.

At Nominingue, all campers live in tents. At seven years of age, campers live with a group of three or four friends, a counselor and a junior counselor. At fourteen, campers will live in a small tent with one or two friends, with a counselor living nearby, providing older campers with the independence and freedom that they seek.

Each morning, campers participate in our instruction program. Boys will choose two activities from a list of 15-20 activities, which they will take for five days. Four different levels of achievement are offered at each activity to ensure that each boy, whether a beginner or an expert, is challenged.
